The Minister for Transport to Denmark is Thomas Nolsøe Danielsen.
Born 24 June 1983.
The Minister resides in Holstebro, Jutland, with his wife and two children.
Parliamentary career
Thomas Danielsen has been Minister for Transport since 15 December 2022. In addition, he has served as Minister for Urban and Rural Affairs, Minister for Ecclesiastical Affairs and Minister for Nordic Cooperation for two shorter periods. Danielsen has been a member of the Danish Parliament for Venstre, the Liberal Party, since 15 September 2011.
Before Thomas Danielsen became Minister for Transport, he was Chairman of the parliamentary group in Venstre, as well as Deputy Chairman of both the Climate, Energy and Utilities Committee and the Finance Committee in the Danish Parliament. Since Danielsen was elected to the Parliament, he has held a number of parliamentary positions, including spokesperson for Energy and Climate.
Before Danielsen was elected to the Danish Parliament, he worked as a bank advisor.

Priorities
As Minister for Transport, Thomas Danielsen generally works for simplification of regulations, to reduce border obstacles, improve mobility both nationally and across borders, and closer cooperation on the European continent as regards sustainable and well-functioning transport. This includes among other things the harmonisation of rules and requirements for trucks, to make it easier to cross European borders, and the roll-out of infrastructure for green fuels.
